Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Madeline Nichols (Whitney) can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

NICHOLS, Madeline Rose (Whitney) – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Madeline on Friday, July 22nd, 2016, in her 88th year. Survived by loving partner Allan Whitney Sr. Loving mother to Catherine Kiser (late Robert), Mary Lynn Whitney, Allan Whitney (Roberta), and Darryl Whitney (Victoria). Predeceased by her eight brothers and two sisters. Enjoyed by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Madeline was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 99. Following cremation, Funeral Services will be held at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 at 11:30a.m. (with visitation one hour prior from 10:30-11:30a.m.). Private inurnment to take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospice Quinte would be greatly appreciated by the family.
