Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Laurie Naples can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Laurie Rose Naples

NAPLES, Laurie Rose (Keech) - Laurie Naples of Trenton, Ontario passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on November 23, 2016 at The Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus after a brief illness. She was 57. Laurie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alec, son Andrew, and daughter Jennifer and partner Kai Foster. Laurie also leaves behind her mother, Rose Keech, brother Brad Keech and husband Andrew Just, sister Kim Keech and spouse Andy Talsma, sisters-in-law Cathy Keech and Jackie Keech, many nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and longtime friends. She rejoins her late father Norman Lorne Keech, brothers Gary Keech and Steve Keech, and in-laws Mary and Mike Naples after a brief time apart. Laurie received exceptional care from skilled and compassionate staff at both the General and Civic Campuses of The Ottawa Hospital as well at Quinte Healthcare Trenton Memorial and Belleville General. The family encourages anyone who would like to honour Laurie’s memory to consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of her and other members of our family touched by the disease.
