Obituary for Ronald Bruce "Ron" Marrs

Ronald Bruce "Ron" Marrs
MARRS, RONALD BRUCE
A masterful wit until the end, his "Ronnie-isms" a gift to all.
His countless, original expressions were colourful, creative and thoughtful. He would end conversations with, "Have a care."...meaning take care of others and of yourself.
Ronnie always made time for everyone. The man who spent his career at North York Hydro, as a lineman, then as the Supervisor of Trouble Operations constantly there to help with anyone's troubles or questions. He was the "Go To Guy", a true problem-solver. The man with the solutions but without ego. A man who loved his family.
He treasured his retirement to farm-life, his workshop, tractor, making "his darlin'", Vicky, laugh really loud and playing "staff" to their cuddly critters.
Known for warmth and hospitality..."What's more fun than people? More people!"
Marrsy was in his happy place outside fishing or at the hunt camp with the boys.
Thank you and love to Ross, Tim and Doug. Men of whom he was so proud.
Community-minded, always ready to serve and give, an active member of Quinte Lodge Number 69, Trent Valley Shrine Club, Lower Trent Valley Fish and Game Club and Foxboro Men's Club. Ron so enjoyed his work with LTV Youth Day, Hospice Quinte and Make A Wish.
"Have a care, Ronnie."
