LUCAS, DOUGLAS CHARLES ‘DOUG’
Suddenly at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017. Doug Lucas in his 77th year.
Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Reid). Predeceased by his parents Garfield & Eva Lucas. Loving father of Judy Brant (Greg Thompson) of Crookston and Raymond (Darlene) of Springbrook. Dearest grandfather of Brian, Natasha, Mandy, & Erin and great-grandfather of Tyrone, Kaylee, Landon, Brayden, Creed, Van, Nolan & Lyla. Predeceased by his siblings Betty Way (late Doug), Shelva Richardson (late Sam), Marjorie Hughes, William (late Joyce), Jack (late Lois) and Raymond. Remembered by his brother in law Jack Hughes of Shannonville and his sister in law Edna Longmuir of Belleville and all of his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lucas is resting at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville, on Friday, January 13th from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 14th from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 am. Interment Belleville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s memory to Sick Kid’s Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
