The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ernest Daniels can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Even tho I knew Uncle Ernie's passing was imminent, the news was a shock. A dear and gentle man has left us feeling a little lost and lonely. I had a close bond with both him and Aunt Phyllis. We spent many hours traveling the back roads of our ancestors, exchanging knowledge and much laughter and conversations.
Uncle Ernie was that quiet presence in the background but was fully engaged and supportive of any achievement I made. We shared a love of birds and gardens. Always a ready smile and hug when I rang the front door bell. Oh, I loved that Bell!
I loved his laugh, so full compared to his quiet voice.
He respected my love of genealogy and never once refused any questions I had. We have now lost the last live connection to our Daniels ancestors of his generation(that I know of).
I like to think of him laughing, talking and mingling with his loved ones, somewhere that is invisible to us.
I say so long to the best Uncle ever, who was more like a dad.
He will be alive forever in my heart.
Hugs and condolences to the family.
