The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Geraldine Hopkins can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

At Hastings Manor in her 89th year, Geraldine passed away peacefully with family by her side. Daughter of the late Harry and Bernice Hicks. Loving wife of the late George Hopkins. Dear Mom to Rosemary Brown (Richard), Lynn Large (Gilbert), Sherri McCarten (Jim), Don Hopkins (Lynda), the late Dennis Hopkins and late David Hopkins. Sister to the late Glen Hicks. Loving Grandmother to Dennis, Bobbi Ann, Melanie, Tracey, Corey, Dawn and the late Lisa. Great grandmother to 18 wonderful great grandchildren.
For the past 6 years, Gerry has resided on the Pine Villa at Hastings Manor LTC. Her children are very thankful for the loving care that she received from the staff. Mom was so blessed to have made so many caring new friendships. We are especially thankful to Bonnie for her devoted love & support to Mom and her daughters. A Loving protector of her family, she always enjoyed her Sunday drives, attending to her beautiful flower gardens, preparing amazing dinners and travelling with family to create lasting memories. Mom, we will always cherish the memories we have shared with you over the years; you taught us well. Go in peace to be with Dad in Heaven.
