SCHNELLHARDT, ANNA MARIA

Anna Maria Schnellhardt passed peacefully in her sleep into the loving arms of Christ on March 8, 2017 ending her fight with cancer. She was a faithful servant of God and will live forever in our hearts.
She is survived by Ted Hubbers, children Lilian (Kevin), Monika (Dennis) and Bill (Roxanne), six grandchildren, three great grandchildren (and a fourth she was pleased to learn of recently to be born in September).
Anna Maria lived a full life and was very optimistic. She immigrated from Germany in 1955 and immediately loved Canada. Her life focused on being a mother, happy homemaker, working, teaching 4H, volunteering at church and the diabetes association. In her last 25 years, she and Ted shared their love of dancing, games and bridge. She loved hosting and cooking for family and friends.
Anna Maria was cremated and her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2 pm at the College Hill United Church, 16 North Park Street, Belleville with Rev. Brenda Timpson presiding. Reception to follow in the church hall.
In her honour, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society, World Vision or College Hill United Church.
