He was a member of Oak Hills Golf course for over 45 years and enjoyed playing golf regularly with his sons and participating in golf tournaments. Glenn loved to bowl and began five pin bowling as a young man in his early twenties. He won a number of tournaments and was most proud of Mr. Bowling in 1966 and the CKWS in March 1964. Glenn participated in bowling recreational throughout his life and near the end enjoyed participated in ten pin bowling leagues until a year ago. During the sixties and seventies Glenn was fully involved in Belleville’s Minor Hockey League as the Manager of his son’s hockey teams; as well as a Convenor for Ontario Minor Hockey Association for most of the seventies. Glenn’s hobbies were a significant part of his life and he continued to enjoy them after retiring from Northern Telecom in 1989; after serving the company as a Machinist and then Set-Up Coordinator for over thirty-six years. Glenn’s real joy and love was his family. He enjoyed 54 years of marriage to Margaret Marion Tuck and they raised five children together. Glenn’s children and grandchildren will miss his beef stew, his many regular sayings and playing cards with him.
