Obituary for Robert Douglas "Doug" Mitchell

MITCHELL, Robert Douglas (Doug)-
Passed away peacefully from complications after a long illness on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 at the Belleville General Hospital. Doug Mitchell, of Foxboro in his 87th year. Son of the late William Mitchell and Ethel Smith. Beloved husband for 66 years of Patricia (nee Bell). Brother of the late William Mitchell, Stanley Mitchell, Eleanor (Bunny) Mitchell, Half-Brother to the late Frank Belsey, Irene Kirby, and Kenneth Roe.
Sadly missed by his son William “Bill” Mitchell (Brenda) and their children; Robert (Katy), Rhyan, Andrew (Nicole), His daughters Alice Mitchell (Jeff Kelly), Patricia Sagriff (Mitchell) and her children; Emma and Willem Sagriff, Damian Lambert (Tanya) and great grandson Liam, and Lori Mitchell (Eric Tuttelberg) and their children; Sam and Rudy.
Doug will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Doug was with Airborne R.C.R. during the Korean War era, and piper with numerous pipe bands in the Kingston, Picton and Belleville area. Owner and Operator of Foxboro Pressure Systems for over 40 years. Friends are invited to call at the JOHN R BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Friday, April 21st, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Foxboro Cemetery. If desired, donations to the War Amps or Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
