Rushnell Family Services

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Putnam can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Paul Browne
Condolence: I have only recently learned of Jim's passing. The sorrow I feel is balanced by the amazing times my brother (Michael) and I had growing up and visiting June and Jim in Wooler. The adventures we went on are life long memories. The kindness, smile, laugh and good nature of Jim is simply unparalled. My sympathies to all the family members. A one in a million character guided in life by the most beautiful lady on Earth. Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to June, Janie, Jerrilynn, Jill and their families. It is with great fondness that I remember Jim from my childhood - or "Putt" - as dad would refer to him. His easy-going personality and laughter could always fill a room. My thoughts are with you all.

Condolence: I feel sadness at the loss of Jim and joy for the beautiful memories. I worked with him at the beer store in the late 70s and truly enjoyed our friendship. May you also enjoy many pleasant memories of your lives with Jim

Condolence From: Karen, Gord, & Jennie Brown
Condolence: Dear June, Janie, Jerrilynn, Jill and families;
We are saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. He was such a wonderful friend to the Brown family, and years after Helen and Reg’s deaths, June & Jim have stayed in touch with the Brown orphans. Whether dropping in after a visit to Stockdale or on the fall apple trip, or seeing Jim at the Duke Dome, we were always greeted as if we had just seen him the day before. He made us feel that he was truly glad to see us – and most certainly, the feeling was mutual. We have so many wonderful memories of the Beaver Lake and McAllen,Texas eras which will remain with us forever.Thinking warmly of you in the days ahead.
All our love; Karen, Gord, & Jennie Brown, Kennebec Lake
