BIRKETT, Margaret Elsie peacefully at her home in Brighton on Thursday, June 8, 2017, age 83 years. Margaret Birkett of Brighton, daughter of the late Elmer Lightle and the late Olive (Morton). Loving mother of Lynda Birkett (William Gilmour) of Maynooth, Sharon Boyer (Dan Smith) of Garden Hill, and Vicki Reddom (Paul) of Colborne. Predeceased by her sons, Michael and Bill Birkett. Survived by her daughter-in-law Donna Birkett of Oshawa. Sister of Jean Baker and Dodie Vantol, both of Cobourg. Predeceased by her brother Hayden Lightle. Sadly missed by her eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews. Cremation with interment in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Cemetery, Maynooth, at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Northumberland Community Care Brighton, the SMILE Program, or the Victorian Order of Nurses, would be appreciated by the family.
