The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bob Neilson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Isla;
I am so very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. It was a privilege to get to know Bob over the last four years at the pharmacy. He was a brave man who always put a smile on our faces. I remember running into you and Bob at the mall several years ago with my then 10-year-old son, Matthew. I told Matt afterwards that Bob was a paratrooper during the Korean War… was he ever impressed at the thought of a young Bob jumping out of airplanes!!! In the years after that, Bob was so kind to share some recollections and memorabilia of those times with Matthew.
Isla, my sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We will miss Bob very much.
