Obituary for Gladys Muriel Fisher

On Friday, July 14, 2017 in her 95th year, Gladys Muriel Fisher, with family at her side, stepped into eternity to be with her Lord. Born January 4, 1923 to the late Fred Payne and Amelia Kelly, Gladys was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years, Albert "Bud" Fisher. She leaves to mourn her son and daughter-in-law Ed and Carol Fisher, a sister Marion Payne in Belleville, and sister Mildred Colmer and her family in Brampton, Ont. Grandma Fisher will also be missed by grandchildren Amy Fisher and husband Jason Steiner, Samantha Fisher and husband James Pedlar, Joel Fisher and wife Morgan, as well as great-grandchildren Keira Madelyn, Moira Joy and Henry Thomas III. Gladys was the consummate home-maker, care-giver and long-time Salvation Army adherent. All wish to extend a heart-felt thanks to the extraordinary care staff at Belmont Long Term Care Facility. Arrangements have been entrusted to John R. Bush Funeral Home, Belleville. A private family service will follow at a later date.
