Condolence: Irene was a very caring, sweet soul. We have fond memories of Irene while we were at Eden Place visiting Rose (Mom and Gramma). We were very lucky to have met Irene as she also sat at the same dining table as Rose and they developed a nice friendship. We shared countless stories new and old with Irene and were blessed to have known her. I will forever remember the warm "Hello Annie" she always greeted me with whenever I seen her. Condolence: We first met Irene when our Mom moved to Eden Place Retirement Home. Irene was so sweet and was like a welcoming angel that greeted Mom with so much grace, love and wisdom. Mom's room was across from Irene's, so they became neighbors. Luckily Irene sat at the same dinner table as our Mother, where they could get to know each other well. Irene was such a blessing and will be so missed by our mother and us. We learned that Irene had babysat our Hayman cousins when they were little and so we were able to reminisce on our earlier lives together. Irene was a champion because when my Mom was hit by a car and had a head injury, Irene was there helping her with memory related things. We will hold Irene dear and near to our hearts and will have a Mass Intention said for the repose of her soul. May Irene be received in the arms of Jesus with the same welcoming heart and graces that she bestowed on our Mother. We will miss Irene so much but know she will breathe and rest easy in a better place in heaven. God bless you Irene!
