JEFFS, Muriel Jean (nee Ashley) – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Muriel Jeffs in Frankford at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017, in her 86th year. Predeceased by parents Albert Ashley and Lillian Hoover. Beloved wife of the late Harry Jeffs. Dear mother of Darlene Burton (Frank), Marlene Jeffs, Ron Jeffs (Sandra), Dave Jeffs (Vicky), and Predeceased by eldest son Bob Jeffs. Dearest sister of Helen Philip (Bryce), Barb Ashley-Caterer (Ron), and Bernard Ashley (Pat). Fondly remembered by 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren. Muriel was a proud member of Hastings Park Bible Church for many years and a long-time employee at Northern Telecom. Friends may call at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and on Friday, August 18th, 2017 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel Friday, August 18th, 2017 at 2:00 pm. A private family Interment will take place at Luke's Cemetery following the funeral service.
