BATES, Clinton Keith (March 13, 1936 - December 6, 2018) (Long term employee as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Dave Scott's Haulage), formerly of Stockdale. Son of the late Clinton and Edith Bates. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Spencer) of 44 years. Dear father of Daniel Bates. Proud grandfather to Chanda McCool, and great-grandfather to Evelyn McCool. Predeceased by sister Hilda Mitchell, nephew Richard Mitchell, and niece Cindy Mitchell. Also remembered by brothers-in-law Jim Mitchell (Sharon), and Glen Spencer (Linda) and families, sister-in-law Lois Spencer, niece Debbie Howard (Lloyd) and families, Randy Mitchell (Carol) and families, Cherie Mitchell and families, and good friend and care giver Sharon Saulnier. A private family graveside service will be held in the spring at Stockdale cemetery. A Celebration of Keith's life will be held at Frankford Funeral Chapel, 40 North Trent St., Frankford (613-398-6400) on Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 from 2-4p.m. A special thanks goes out to the staff of ICU at BGH and all the staff at Stirling Manor for their care and support of Keith.
