Of Belleville, entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital on Saturday October 16th, 2010 in her 78th year. Dear daughter of the late Joseph & Edith Gonsalves. Beloved wife of Achille "George" Uddenberg for 62 years. Cherished mother of Achille Uddenberg Jr. & his wife Linda of Ancaster, Herb Uddenberg & his wife Sue of Belleville, Gill Uddenberg & her husband Rick Rimar of Pickering and Jolanda Uddenberg & her husband Kent Lewis of Belleville. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Kristel Nicholas (John), Jess Uddenberg (Leslee), Cassie Richardson (Joe) and Jody Uddenberg all of Belleville, Tom Uddenberg (Lynsey) of Montreal and Kevin Uddenberg of Winnipeg. Also lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren; Jazlin & Theo Nicholas, Ruby & Georgia Uddenberg, Gemma Uddenberg and (one on the way). Dear sister of Allan Gonsalves (Ruth) of Toronto and Marilyn Theodore (late husband Paul) of Toronto. Predeceased by sister Elaine Tasheira. Friends are invited to call at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080) on Tuesday October 19th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church (399 Victoria Avenue, Belleville) on Wednesday October 20th, 2010 at 10:30a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Pancreatic Cancer Research) would be appreciated by the family.
