THORN, SHARON JANE GEORGINA
Peacefully at the Maple Manor Residence, Belleville, on Saturday, December 31st, 2016. Sharon Thorn (nee Cross) in her 68th year. Wife of the late Charles R. Thorn and daughter of the late William Cross and Lillian (nee Pouport). Daughter in law of Marg Thorn. Dearest mother of Brian (Celine) of Ottawa and Charles (Kathleen) of Belleville. Special grandmother of Alex, Mathieu, Riley, Charlie, and Matthew. Survived by her siblings Shirley Moore(William), Tom Cross(Arlene), Dennis Cross(Doreen) all of Belleville and Darlene Carr(Harry) of Brockville. Predeceased by her sister Diane Morgan(late Reg). Fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and the extended Thorn families.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held in the Chapel of the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville on Saturday, January 7th at 1 p.m. Inurnment Elmwood Cemetery, Corbyville in the spring. Donations in memory of Sharon can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
