Obituary for Raymond Joseph Goodchild

Goodchild, Raymond Joseph (retired Engineer / Bethlehem Steel) – Passed away at the Heart of Hastings Hospice in Madoc on Thursday January 12th, 2017. Raymond Goodchild, of Madoc, on his 91st year. Son of the late William and Ethel (Fox) Goodchild. Beloved husband of Fern Eva (nee Smith) for 65 years. Dear father of Cathy Goodchild (Dennis Roch), and Karen Goodchild (Bob Trudeau), all of Belleville. Survived by his sister Lois. Predeceased by his sisters Helen, Lela, and by his brothers Claude, Clifford and Don. Arrangements in the care of Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080). In keeping with Raymond’s wishes, cremation has taken place. An interment will be held at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
