Obituary for Kenneth James "Jim" Castle

CASTLE, Kenneth James – entered in rest surrounded by family, at Trent Valley Lodge Nursing Home on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Jim Castle of Trenton in his 93rd year. Son of the late John and Edna (Morley) Castle. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Winter) Castle. Loved father of Cindy (Brian) Angus of Carrying Place, Barbara Castle (Philip Robertson) of Calgary, John (Debbie) Castle of Trenton and Carol (Joe) Humenick of Codrington. Survived by sister Marion (Harold) Stickwood of Barrie. Ever remembered grandfather of Melissa, McKenzie, Adam, Ashleigh, Cassandra, Reid; great-grandfather of Riley, Liam, Olivia, Kayleigh and Benjamin. Predeceased by sisters Irene (Cyril) Keats and Edna (Bernard) Gibson. The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Royal Canadian Legion Branch 110 holding a Memorial Service at 12:45 p.m at the Rushnell Funeral Centre prior to the funeral service. Reverend Ed Bentley officiating. Interment Mount Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Salvation Army or War Amps would be appreciated by the family.
