Rosemary and Ian Kennedy

Kate was one of the first people to offer her friendship when we moved to Brighton some years ago. We had an immediate affinity and shared many interest - as diverse as opera and rugby! I kept in contact with Kate after we moved away to the West Coast, and the news of her death was deeply saddening. I will miss her cheery letters, and comparing notes on the latest opera. Heartfelt condolences to all her family. She was definitely one of a kind and will be so much missed.
