BENTLEY, Gerald Arthur (Jerry)-
passed away peacefully at Moira Place Long Term Care Home, Tweed on Thursday March 30th, 2017. Gerald (Jerry) Arthur Bentley of RR#7 Belleville (Rossmore) in his 82nd year. Son of the late Roscoe Ernest Bentley and Abbeville (Abbie) Lucina Bentley (Todd) formerly of Wooler. Survived by his sisters Helen Scea, Doris Skillen and Marguerite Allcock. Beloved husband to the late Theresa Yvonne Bentley (Foote). Predeceased by his son James Arthur Bentley. Loving father of Cathy Smyth (Rodney) of Mississauga, Thomas Bentley (Sandra) of Osgoode, Robert Bentley (Esther) of Belleville, Daniel Bentley of Hamilton and Patricia Bentley-Zantingh (Richard) of Wellington. Sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Jerry was a long time mechanic and earned his trade through Walter Elliot (Elliot Motors). Jerry loved to work on his Willy's Jeeps and other projects in his garage/machine shop repairing and building amazing things. In keeping with Gerald's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Gerald's life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588).
