Obituary for Esther Noreen Jeffery (Ellis)

JEFFERY, Esther Noreen – Passed peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018. Esther Jeffery of Trenton was in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Bruce and Melissa Ellis. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Cecil Jeffery (2001). Loving mother to Sharon Munro and her husband Dennis of Oshawa. Pre-deceased by her sister Eileen Trenouth (late Ross) and brother Everet Ellis (late Bernice). Devoted grandmother to Blair Munro and his wife Susan of Oshawa and great-grandmother to Brianna and Blake Munro. Esther was the first Telephone Operator in Wooler with Bell Canada, a proud accomplishment of hers. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. A private interment will take place at White's Cemetery, Bayside where she will be buried alongside her husband. Arrangements in the care of the Rushnell Funeral Centre, 60 Division St., Trenton (613-392-2111).
