MITCHELL, JOHN STANLEY “JOHNNY”
At the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, March 16th, 2017. John Mitchell in his 100th year.
Husband of the late Muriel “Merle” nee Smith. Predeceased by his parents Herb & Myrtle Mitchell and his sisters Dorothy and Ruth. Remembered by his step-children Fred Armstrong (Laurie) of Quinte West and step-daughter-in-law Bernice Armstrong of Cobourg. Predeceased by his step-son Gordon Armstrong. Step-grandfather of Jeffrey(Karen), Casey, Michael and Kimberley and step-great grandfather of Stephanie, Cole, Micheal and Hallie. Uncle of Merle Wanless of London. John will be remembered by Shirley Patterson and everyone at the Seasons Retirement Residence, the RCAF 8 Wing Band and the Commodores Orchestra.
A Gathering in Celebration of John’s Life will be held at the Seasons Retirement Centre, 344 Dufferin Ave, Trenton on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. If desired, donations to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation or the Hastings Manor Resident’s Fund would be appreciated in John’s memory.
