Condolences

Condolence From: Ray Stockermans
Condolence: It was an honour and a pleasure to play with Johnny as part of the saxophone section of the 8 Wing Band. The times that he lived through are incredible, as an original member of the Commodores, and he has certainly touched everyone that he has played alongside, with his humor and pleasant nature. He was always a gentleman and we will miss him. Ray Stockermans.

Condolence From: Glenn MacNeil and Michelle Boulanger
Condolence: It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Johny. I had the privilege to sit next to Johnny during many 8 Wing years as part of the Sax section. Never a bad word to say and always a quick wit when something struck him the right way.
And oh my such a beautiful tone, he played a Selmer , the first one he bought, when he was a young man. It was like sitting next to a musical hystory book, I loved him.
Michelle and I both had a very special place for Jonny in our hearts, we will miss him and the world has lost a true musical soul.
Rest well Jonny,

Condolence From: Julie Cotton-Goulet
Condolence: So sorry to hear of John's passing. We were next door neighbors when he lived in the east end. Loved hearing him practice his saxophone, and miss his waves from his front step when we arrived home from work. What an amazingly long life he lived and still able to play in the band right into his later years. Such a sweet man. Rest in peace John. Love from Marc and Julie Goulet
